Touring The ERIE Suburban Depots
The former ERIE mainline was soon to be abandoned through downtown Passaic as commuter operations were shifting to other routes beginning the next month, March, 1963. At the time of the photos, this was Erie-Lackawanna property, but this is a tour of some of the former ERIE depots in suburban territory. With his mom in tow, John made a visit to his brother nearby and took the opportunity to get these shots. Mom didn't mind.
