| The Godfather is armed with his Argus C3 brick and some color film and is headed to Altoona, the heart of the PRR, for his first experience up close and personal with the Standard Railroad of the World. Back then, you could ride the train to your railfan destination if it was Altoona and you lived in New Jersey, and on this trip John rode PRR train #13, a mail train to St. Louis, led by Baldwin Centipedes west of Harrisburg (see the photos John snapped after detraining at Altoona).
