John travels to Wyoming directly from Ontario where he left the CN 6218 in snow to chase the UP8444 (as it was numbered then) on an excursion over Sherman Hill. Along the way, he photographs UP freights pulled by the Big Jacks and U50''s, plus the last service days of the UP covered wagons.
