This train looks to be headed out of town (toward the photographer) on Beacon St, but I think they should be on the rails to the right of the car, judging by the poles. I don't ever remember wrong-side running in Boston. The Cities Service sign (now Citco) marks Kenmore Square. I think these double-enders were originally from Dallas.
