The orientation of this image had me confused until I realized that it has been presented backwards. This is another view of the Economy Secondary at Ambridge, Pennsylvania looking (railroad) east. Locomotive number 9175 is servicing a builder’s supply siding, possibly B. Scott McFarland; although it may have been renamed by a new owner at the time this image was taken. The structure seen above the locomotive is part of Wall’s Feed, located on Eighth Street, which marked the end of the secondary’s track. lastly, the (visitor‘s) bleachers are part of the ambridge high school football stadium, home of the “bridgers”.
